The technician who came found the zone dampers were not wired correctly overheating one zone and a missing pressure shutoff was keeping the emergency heat on ALL the time for 5 days! I think the technician should provide more verbal and written feedback regarding the service call, ie, condition of units, potential areas of concern, etc. The main comment offered was a pitch to install media filters. "I called the morning after the most recent freeze. An elbow cracked on my well pump. I explained to you what was wrong. An appt. six days away was made. the day before, I called and indicated if it would save me money to combine adding a kitchen faucet installation, I would like to do so. the person who took my call said that could be added with no problem. Tim showed up on that day, checked the pump, made a call and concluded that he could not help me with the pump, but said he could install the faucet. The quote was double what I expected, but I agreed. He said at one point the faucet would not fit the holes in my stone countertop and suggested we install it at an odd angle or have the hole bored out to a larger diameter. After looking at the faucet for a few seconds, I suggested a way to have it fit and it worked. If I had relied on his expert opinion, it would have cost me quite a bit more. He installed the faucet in one hour, then left water that had run out of the original faucet soaking into the mat I had under the sink for me to clean up. When I expressed my disappointment the next day with a SE supervisor, I was told the pump should have been repaired. It was "an oversight". The $387 was the right charge, and combining it with the pump repair was not how pricing was done. The pump would have been an additional $407 plus tax. I expected good pricing and exceptional service, but received neither. I am very disappointed in SE."

The capacitor is 3 years old. When I asked him what steps should be taken in the future to keep this from happening, he stated "Then I won't replace it.""

"I bought a brand new system in 2016 the salesmen assured me it was a high quality and durable unit. Its been nothing but problems and even though parts were warranties the first 5 years labor was not and very costly. I pay 14$ a month and was told the service calls would be free. Still I was charged 87$ for the repair to look at it and tell me it needed a blower motor! He said the fee to come to my house was waived but not for him to look at it for 15 minutes? WTF? Now its 87$ to drive to my driveway and then another 87$ to look at my unit? When I called them service line I requested a manager call me and talk to me MONDAY and here it is Thursday and I havent heard from anyone noir have I heard when the part will be here and replaced! The same blower motor that had been replaced in august of 2021 is point of warranty of course and caught fire I had to put it out with an extinguisher and then cut the circuit breaker power. Now the coldest week of the year I have no heat and my outside unit cant even get the auxiliary heat it needs so it doesnt malfunction like before. Your company sells shit units then uses shit replacement parts has shit people do shit installs and then shit people charge me as much as Much as they can by hook and by crook! Then you people don't even have management contact me as requested. Im going to keep the dangerous blower motor that caught fire and contact a lawyer because I smell more than just smoke in the hallway Im thinking class action and soon as your other customers start begetting contacted. I suggest somebody get off thier ass and call me ASAP!!!!!! Im going to put you guys on full social media blast for your shit service shit products and shit service!!!!!!"

"During my semi-annual maintenance, I was informed that I had multiple issues with a unit and the preliminary repair would be almost $800. They scheduled a visit with a sales rep the next day for discussions on a replacement. Upon leaving, both the "bad" unit and the remaining good one were both left without power and I had to wait until the next day to get someone in to turn it back on. The sales rep was fortunately able to get the working unit back on so the service call was a cancelled. An independent contractor who owns his own HVAC company paid me a visit and provided a different issue that was much cheaper, and also provided a quote on replacement lower than Service Experts. He also let me know that the Seer 14 scare tactics of doing things by EOY are a lie because they can still be installed after January. The "let me call a friend and see if I can get this price down" play is predictable, and your competition does it to. This will be my last service call with Service Experts."

"In July 2017, I was sold a 3 ton Lennox HVAC system which has failed due to a heat transfer part rusting, cracking and creating a CO2 emergency. Iwas told the parts are still under a 10 year warranty, but they can NOT locate the part needed, nor do they have ANY idea when it might become available. So I was offered an "Advantage Plan" which would replace my unit (with ANOTHER Lennox!) and cost me a mere $27,000 over a 10 year "plan" period. Perhaps they could provide "Expert Service" by taking the part off of the "new" unit and using it on my 5 year old unit which is already rusted out...."
